Air France-KLM S.A. is an aviation holding company, headquartered in France at the Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The Group is one of the world’s largest airline companies (in terms of annual revenue).

Air France-KLM has a network of approximately 231 destinations in 103 countries from its hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol. It operates the biggest transatlantic joint venture, with over 250 flights on a daily basis.

It carried 77.3 million passengers and 1.3 million tonnes of cargo in 2013.

Air France-KLM was formed in 2004 following the merger of Air France and the Dutch airline KLM. The initial public offering was launched on 5 April 2004 on the Paris Euronext and Amsterdam markets.

Air France–KLM’s subsidiaries include: Air France, Air France Cargo, France HOP!, KLM, KLM Cargo, KLM Cityhopper, Martinair, and Cobalt Ground Solutions.

The company’s two main competitors are Lufthansa and British Airways.
