August 10, 2014: Delta Air Lines was voted the best US airline in 2014. It had lowest proportion of mishandled luggage, the best on-time arrivals record, canceled the fewest flights, and also got top marks for the most improved customer service. Quite a feat for a carrier that came in last in 2013.
