ASUS launches affordable ZenFone Max Pro smartphone for Indian market

ASUS has developed an affordable sub-$200 smartphone called the ZenFone Max Pro to compete against Xiaomi in India – the second largest smartphone market after China. If something is ‘affordable,’ it means that most people have enough money to purchase it.

The 10,999 Indian rupee phone (about $165) made its debut on Monday in Delhi.

The ZenFone Max Pro comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery, a 6-inch FHD+ Full View display and a dual-camera system. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform, with Adreno 509 graphics and runs on pure Android 8.1.
