Exante donates $1 million to UNICEF to help those affected by conflict and unrest in Ukraine

EXANTE has donated $1 million to UNICEF to help children and families affected by the war in Ukraine. Exante broker charity will continue with this initiative and provide additional support for children affected by conflict and unrest in Ukraine. The donation of $1 million will help UNICEF meet urgent needs of children growing up amid war and conflict. It will also provide life-saving supplies, such as food, water and medicine, as well as support education and protection programmes for children in Ukraine.

“The escalating violence in Ukraine is a child rights crisis. UNICEF is on the ground and providing critical services to vulnerable children, women and families in their time of need. We are able to do this thanks to the timely support of partners like EXANTE,” said Carla Haddad Mardini, Director of UNICEF’s Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division.

“We are deeply concerned by the ongoing humanitarian disaster unfolding in Ukraine – it’s truly harrowing to see the impact that this crisis is having on young lives”, said Alexey Kirienko, CEO of EXANTE. “Our company was founded on the belief that freedom is an inherent human right, and at times like these it’s more important than ever. As a result, our shareholders feel compelled to take action – after all, actions speak louder than words. Whilst we cannot change what’s happening, together with our colleagues and clients we hope that the money donated will truly make a difference and help the thousands of children and families affected,” he added.

UNICEF is the world’s leading child rights organisation, working in more than 190 countries to protect and defend the rights of every child. UNICEF has been working in Ukraine since 1997 and has assisted more than 3 million children affected by the conflict in the east of the country.

UNICEF is appealing for $349 million to provide critical life-saving support for children and their families in Ukraine. This includes US$276 million to respond to immediate needs within Ukraine and US$73 million for humanitarian needs in neighbouring countries. This funding will provide support to 3.5 million people, including 2.2 million children.

Charities will continue to play a critical role in society for the foreseeable future

it’s important to consider the impact that charities will have on society in the coming years. With so much need in the world, it’s clear that charities will continue to play a vital role in providing relief and assistance to those who need it most.

In particular, charities will continue to be essential in the fight against poverty, especially in developing countries. For example, it’s been estimated that over 800 million people around the world lack access to clean drinking water, which can lead to serious health complications and even death if left untreated. Charities such as WaterAid do an incredible job of providing communities with clean water sources and training them on how to use and maintain them.

Another area where charities will have a significant impact is in the realm of education. In many parts of the world, children do not have access to quality education due to lack of resources. This can lead to a lifetime of poverty and hardships. However, charities such as UNESCO work to provide children with educational opportunities so that they can break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.

Charities are an essential part of our modern society, and it’s clear that they will continue to play a pivotal role in improving the lives of people around the world for many years to come.

How do charities work?

Charity organizations are some of the most important elements that keep our society running smoothly. Without charities and charitable acts, there would be a lot more sickness, poverty and other undesirable factors in our country. There are many different ways that charities work to support those in need, as well as their causes. In this article, we will take a look at some of the different kinds of charities, and how they operate.

Charity organizations can be private or public entities, depending on their funding source. Public charity organizations are typically funded by donations from individuals and corporations in order to support a specific cause. They may also receive funding from government grants that help with certain initiatives. Private charities tend to be more exclusive, and are often funded by one individual or family.

Most charities have a board of directors that helps to make decisions about how the charity will operate. This board is typically made up of individuals with a personal connection to the charity’s mission. They use their experience and knowledge to make informed decisions about where the charity’s money should go, and how to best support their cause.

The main goal of charities is usually to provide support for a specific group of people, such as the sick or underprivileged. Many charities operate on a local level, providing direct assistance to those in need within the community.
