In addition, a total of 22 majors at the university have entered all 30 latest professional rankings of QS. In addition to civil engineering, another 5 majors have entered the top 20 in the world.
School accommodation
The overall condition of NTU’s dormitory is better than that of NUS, mainly because the room is bigger. Most of the accommodation in the first year of university is a double room, and the general conditions are good. There is a communal kitchen, bathroom/shower room. NTU dormitory is equipped with furniture such as writing desk, wardrobe and bed, as well as network interface and telephone line. In the first year, the school guarantees that you live in the on-campus dormitory, and then you need to look at your ECA Points (ECA Points are the points you earn by participating in activities in the school). Generally speaking, the ECA of NUS is more difficult to get than NTU. There are many small activities in NTU, so it doesn’t take too much time. Moreover, there are many dormitories in NTU, and the relative value of the required scores is much lower than that of NUS. However, most of the activities of NUS take a lot of time, and the dormitory requirements are relatively high. Therefore, most Chinese students in NUS are transferred to off-campus dormitories in their second year.

The school has comprehensive teaching and research facilities. Members of the university community work and study in state-of-the-art and well-equipped laboratories, classrooms and faculty offices. In addition, the school has high-tech network learning equipment, including wired and wireless network configuration.
