The much anticipated Season 1 Reloaded is here for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, and some new and exciting features will make the game more challenging. With the introduction of the new Raid Mode and the unexplored Building 21, Season 1 Reloaded will have the best for everyone. Raid Mode has certain requirements that you need to meet before you can unlock it, and Building 21 will be the most challenging location yet if you can find it. Let’s explore what Raid Mode and Building 21 will bring to Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2’s Season 1 Reloaded.

Raid Mode and Building 21 in MW2 and Warzone 2.0 Season 1 Reloaded Explained

With the holiday season close by, you can now spend your days trying to unlock the new Raid Mode, or explore the abandoned Building 21 and search for new loot. Both these new features are currently locked, and you need to find or complete a set of requirements to get going.

How to Unlock Raid Mode in Season 1 Reloaded

Raid Mode is a part of the Atomgrad Episode 1 list of series, and this will be a recurring event throughout the seasons. This mode is a multiplayer mode that will house 3 players per team, but there won’t be any matchmaking. Rather you can bring your friends while you navigate through Raid Mode. To unlock Raid Mode, you need to pick up something called the Raid Assignment. This is not a team effort and can be handled by a single team player. The requirements that you need to meet and complete the Raid Assignment are as follows.

  • In Special Ops or Multiplayer, complete the mentioned Daily Challenge
  • In Warzone 2.0, get the top 20 in any of the Battle Royale Playlist
  • In DMZ mode, exfil using the final helicopter and make it out with at least $30K in cash

You do not need to complete all of them to complete the Raid Assignment, but rather you should pick one and complete it. You have one week to complete the Assignment once you have picked it up. Completing the Raids multiple times will offer different rewards each time, and the higher your difficulty mode the better the rewards.

How to Unlock Building 21 in Season 1 Reloaded

DMZ has a new area that can be unlocked once you find all the keys for it. You would have noticed an influx of supply drops that hold a DRX Building 21 Access Card Key, and if you are confused about what they were, now you know. You need to collect the Access Card from the supply drops for when Building 21 is accessible. You will know when a supply drop will land via a notification. Check your map for the missile icon and follow it to unload the supplies. Besides raiding supply drops, you can also find the Access Card by killing enemies, checking buildings and strongholds, and opening loot containers.

While you may have the Access Card Key for Building 21, you cannot access the building yet. Building 21 has not been launched as a part of Season 1 Reloaded but would rather appear in a future update. There will be no announcement for when the update will happen, nor will there be a live announcement for Building 21. You just have to keep your eyes peeled for when it does drop by surprise. Building 21 will be an entirely different location altogether, and will not be a part of the Al Mazrah map. It will also have different loot, better rewards and contrabands, and tougher enemies.

Season 1 Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 has plenty of everyone, and with the holidays fast approaching, the new mode and areas are sure to keep you occupied.
