Things you should do

Being an RRB JE aspirant, you need to be very intuitive regarding your preparation. As per the age limit, engineers with ample experience will also apply for the posts. Despite the huge vacancy, the competition will be much high.

For this, you need to be very nifty with your core subjects. Try finding your old book and start studying for the exam. The biggest hurdle for an engineer is to find jobs that utilize their core knowledge of the subjects. These days, it is hard to relate your work with the core knowledge you gather during your academic days. Hence, a fresh engineer might have a competitive edge over the experienced ones.

To make the ground even, you will have to study the basic science subjects as well. The general science section and mathematics carry a lot of marks in the CBT-I exam. Concentrate on those subjects at first to crack the first level. Once you cross it, you will have to study a huge syllabus in a very short span of time for the CBT-II exam.

Final words

As per the successful candidates, study every subject following a routine. You can make a huge difference by doing so. Follow the development in the RRB JE notifications and keep preparing.
