A USP – a unique selling proposition – is something no business can do without if you want it to stand out from the crowd. Your USP is the thing you do differently from everyone and the thing that makes you the right choice for customers.

Perhaps it’s your marketing that’s different. Maybe it’s your customer service or your prices or your guarantee. It’s also vital to understand how your specific business works, but since you will have picked a niche you’re already familiar with, this is usually not an issue that has to be addressed right away.
