AWS offers more than 100 AI courses, learning resources and freebies. The basic skills of machine learning, generative AI and foundational models can be acquired by learners. The company is committed to providing free AI training to 2,000,000 people by 2025.

This course is a seven-week course that covers AI algorithms, gaming engines, handwriting recognition and machine translation. The course includes lectures and hands-on activities. Students must commit between 10 to 30 hours per week. The course is taught by David J. Malan, a Harvard professor and renowned computer scientist.

IBM AI Foundations for Everyone

IBM, a leader in new technologies, offers AI foundations for everyone specialization via Coursera. The specialization consists of three courses –

  • IBM Watson – Getting Started With AI

It takes approximately three months to finish the entire specialization, assuming that you devote two hours per week for coursework. The program is led by IBM Skills Network employees Rav Ahuja, and Antonio Cangiano. Participants receive a certificate of completion.

University of Texas, Great learning AI Program

The self-paced course will take you 12 hours total to complete.

Martin Hilbert is the instructor of this course. He is a professor and chair in computational social sciences at UC Davis. Participants are taught AI concepts through case studies. This course has been completed by more than 31,000 people. Participants who complete the course receive a certificate which can be posted on LinkedIn.

University of Pennsylvania – AI for Business

The University of Pennsylvania has a series of courses on artificial intelligence for those who are interested in breaking into AI, or want to learn more about its applications to different industries. The AI for Business specialty includes four courses.

The beginner courses are completed in four months and culminate with an applied learning project. Participants complete peer-reviewed assignments to demonstrate what they have learned about data analytics tools, machine learning, and people management. Eight UPenn faculty members from the Wharton School and other university professors teach the specialization. Students can earn a Certificate that they can display on their LinkedIn profile. The courses are available through the online education platform Coursera.
