The Wendy’s Company is one of the leading fast-food chain corporations in the world. It is based in Dublin, Ohio, USA.

The company operates the hamburger fast food chain “Wendy’s”, the cinnamon roll chain “T.J. Cinnamons”, and is a minority owner of the Arby’s sandwich chain.

The first Wendy’s restaurant opened in 1969 in Columbus, Ohio

The company used to be Wendy’s/Arby’s Group Inc until it sold its majority stake in the Arby’s chain to Roark Capital Group in 2011 – becoming a minority owner – and changing its name to The Wendy’s Company.
