Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Market Business News uses cookies and similar technologies to remember privacy choices, deliver and protect this website, measure readership when Analytics is enabled, and display videos when Embedded media is enabled. This policy applies to marketbusinessnews.com. Read it alongside our privacy policy.

Choose or change your settings

Our Cloudflare Zaraz consent banner lets you accept all optional purposes, reject them, or save individual choices. The two optional purposes are Analytics and Embedded media. You can read the website without accepting either. Necessary functions, including saving your decision and website security, remain active.

For visitors in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we show the banner and keep Analytics and Embedded media off unless you enable them. Elsewhere, they are enabled by default if you have not made a choice. We use the country estimated from your IP address, not precise location. If the country is unknown, we show the banner and keep these purposes off. A saved choice you made takes priority in every region, and Cookie settings remains available everywhere.

Use this button or the persistent Cookie settings control to change your choice at any time. Turning off a purpose stops the features covered by it. A page reload may be needed for a feature that has already loaded. Withdrawal does not undo processing that happened before your choice changed.

An existing Google advertising integration may display a separate privacy message. Its advertising choices are separate from our Analytics and Embedded media settings. Use Google’s controls where that message is available.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file saved in your browser by a website or service provider. It can remember a preference or recognize a browser on a later visit. Session cookies generally expire when a browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.

Similar technologies include browser storage, measurement pixels and embedded content. A provider can receive your IP address and browser details through a request even if it does not save a cookie.

Necessary functions

Cloudflare Zaraz stores your settings in a first-party cookie, meaning a cookie set for this website. Our website applies your saved settings and the regional defaults above to decide whether to load the analytics tools and video players described below. A separate necessary cookie distinguishes an automatic regional default from a choice you made. WordPress and Cloudflare also provide the site’s operation and security.

Cookie or service Purpose Duration
zaraz-consent Stores your Analytics and Embedded media settings. Up to one year in the current setup. Saving a new choice can renew this period, and you can delete the cookie sooner.
mbn-zaraz-default Distinguishes automatic regional defaults from a choice you made, so we can ask first if your region changes. Up to one year. Deleted when you make a choice in the banner.
cf_zaraz_client, if set A technical cookie associated with Cloudflare Zaraz. Up to one year in the current setup.
WordPress login and administration cookies, when you sign in Keep authorized users signed in and remember administration settings. Depends on the function and whether the user chooses to remain signed in.
Cloudflare security cookies, when a protection feature uses them Help prevent automated abuse and remember completed security challenges. Depends on the feature and settings. Your browser shows the expiry.

These are the relevant services, rather than a guarantee that every listed cookie is set on every visit. See Cloudflare’s consent documentation and its security cookie documentation.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits without cookies or browser storage. It is separate from the optional Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats tools. Cloudflare also receives technical information when delivering and protecting the website. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 and Jetpack Stats load only when Analytics is enabled under the regional defaults or your saved settings above. They measure visits and website use. Requests can include the page visited, referral information, browser or device details, and service identifiers.

Cookie or service Purpose Duration
Google Analytics _ga Distinguishes browsers for readership measurement. Google’s default is two years.
Google Analytics _ga_* Maintains session information for the Analytics property. Google’s default is two years.
Jetpack Stats measurement requests Reports visits and usage statistics to Automattic. The request has no cookie expiry. Any additional cookies depend on the feature used.

Google cookie expiries may refresh on visits, and browser restrictions may shorten them. These are provider defaults. Cookie expiry is separate from retention of information already received. See Google’s Analytics cookie information and Automattic’s notice for website visitors.

Embedded media

Some articles contain YouTube or Vimeo videos. These players load only when Embedded media is enabled under the regional defaults or your saved settings above. You may see a placeholder while the purpose is disabled.

When a player loads, its provider receives information needed to deliver it, including your IP address and browser details. It may use cookies or browser storage depending on the service, your account status and settings. The provider controls their names and durations. See Google’s privacy policy for YouTube, Vimeo’s privacy policy and Vimeo’s cookie policy.

Google advertising choices

The retained Google advertising integration does not mean an advertisement appears on every page. Google may receive technical request information when the integration loads, even without an advertisement. Its privacy message identifies the applicable advertising purposes, partners and choices. Accepting Embedded media does not accept those separate advertising choices. See Google’s explanation of information collected through partner sites.

Browser controls and questions

Your settings apply to the browser and device where you make them. You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the consent cookie removes your saved settings, so the regional defaults above apply again. Our controls cannot remove every cookie saved by another domain. Blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in, security checks or preference saving.
