This article provides a list of the ten tallest buildings in the world.

The list ranks buildings according to structural height and also provides information on the location of the building, when it was built, and the building’s total number of floors.

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), which was formed in 1969, is currently recognized as being the premier authority in ranking “The World’s Tallest Building”.

Its mission is to study and report “on all aspects of the planning, design, and construction of tall buildings.”

The ranking uses information gathered by the CTBUH, in addition to other sources.

Below is a list of the tallest buildings in the world:

1. Burj Khalifa – located in Dubai, UAE, the building is 828 m (2,717 ft) tall, has a total of 163 floors and was built in 2010.
