On October 10th, the France Canada Chamber of Commerce Ontario (FCCC-O) held its inaugural Gala and Business Awards at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto. Sam Mizrahi, president of Mizrahi Developments was among the award recipients, receiving the highest honor, the Par Excellence Business Award selected by the Chamber.
A prestigious non-profit organization, the FCCC-O was established to enrich the efforts of its members to make a significant contribution toward the development of business relations in France and Canada.
Chamber’s Par Excellence Award
Each year, the Chamber’s Par Excellence Award is presented to a select individual who has demonstrated a high regard for community development. According to the requirements set by the FCCC-O, the recipient must have a proven record of leadership and have made a sizeable contribution to the Canadian and French business community, as well as demonstrated a sense of innovation in the corporate environment.
Commenting on Sam Mizrahi’s honor was Kareen Rispal, the ambassador of France to Canada.

He is leading efforts to bring the best of Canada to France and vice versa. From luxury custom homes to condos
Sam Mizrahi is the founder of Mizrahi Developments. He and his team initially built luxury custom homes in Toronto neighborhoods; later, Mizrahi Developments moved into building custom luxury condominiums.
Today, much of Sam Mizrahi and his team’s focus is directed toward the development of The One, Toronto’s first supertall skyscraper, which is located at the intersection of Yonge and Bloor streets in downtown Toronto. As part of The One’s development, most recently, it was announced that Mizrahi Developments had entered into an agreement with Hyatt Hotels Corporation to build a luxury Andaz hotel in the tower.
Other notable 2019 Business Award winners included Heather McCrory (Women’s Leadership Award), Thales (Best French Presence Award), Mazars (Creating Impact Award), and CIC Capital Ventures and Centreon (Innovation Award).
Past winners of the Par Excellence Business Award include distinguished leaders John Beck, Aecon Group and Don Tapscott, Blockchain Research Institute.
