Square Enix launches free expansion for Lara Croft GO

Lara Croft GO - Square Enix has released a free expansion for Lars Croft GO titled “The Shard of Life”.

The turn-based puzzle adventure game was the 2015 Best Mobile/Handheld Game of the Year nominee from The Game Awards.

The new expansion is available on both iOS and Android. Square Enix said that the Windows Phone version of the game will receive the new expansion as well, but not right away,

The Shard of Life provides 26 new puzzles to solve, a number of new monsters to battle, two new costumes to earn, and more artifacts and gemstones to collect.

According to Square Enix, “the free new content will provide hours of additional gameplay for this unique turn-based experience.”

The game originally had five chapters and 75 puzzles, but with the new expansion will the game has a total of 101 puzzles.

Square Enix also cuts the game’s regular price

In an effort to attract new customers Square Enix cut the game’s regular price by 40%, which means it’s now available for purchase for just $2.99.

“For the occasion, the game is also discounted to 2.99$ for a limited time! It’s the perfect time to jump in and even recommend it to your friends,” said Square Enix.
