UFO files will be opened to public if Hillary Clinton wins elections

Hillary Clinton said she would open up UFO files to the public if she won the upcoming presidential elections in the United States on 8th November 2016. She added that she would only approve this on files that did not undermine national security.

Her pledge will be welcomed by thousands of UFO seekers and alien enthusiasts across the country. However, some have already commented that the term ‘national security’ could be used loosely to cover the most interesting cases.

Ms. Clinton expressed her commitment during the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, where several topics were discussed, including unidentified flying objects.

She would have expected the topic to come up, given that Jimmy Kimmel has asked the same question to current and former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

Last Thursday, Mr. Kimmel said:

“When we had your husband, President Clinton, on this show, I asked him about UFOs and Area 51. If I was president, that’s the first thing I’d do. I’d go right into those files and see what was going on. And he said that he did do that, and that he didn’t find anything.”

Hillary Clinton responded that she will look at them and open them up. “And you know, there’s a new name. It’s unexplained aerial phenomenon – UAP – that’s the latest nomenclature.”

Mr. Kimmel responded that he preferred the old UFO (unidentified flying object) acronym.

Ms. Clinton acknowledged his preference and said “Well, I think we can use them interchangeably, but I would like us to go into those files and, hopefully, make as much of that public as possible. If there’s nothing there, let’s tell people there’s nothing there.”

Barack Obama on Jimmy Kimmel LiveWhen Jimmy Kimmel told President Barack Obama that he’d open up all UFO files to the public if he were president, he responded with the following tongue-in-cheek comment: “The aliens won’t let it happen. You’d reveal all their secrets, and they exercise strict control over us. I can’t reveal anything.”

When asked what she would do if something really was there, Ms. Clinton said she believes all the data should be shared with the public.

However, she added the famous words – “Unless it’s a threat to national security” – which for anybody familiar with the X-Files series and scores of other sci-fi programmes and movies, means she may already be finding ways to keep things secret.

At the end of last year, while on a campaign stop in New Hampshire, Ms. Clinton told a reporter that she aimed to ‘get to the bottom’ of the UFO issue.

Earlier in March this year, John Podesta, Ms. Clinton’s campaign manager and former President Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff, told KLAS-TV in Las Vegas that he had managed to convince Ms. Clinton to declassify ALL UFO files if she wins the elections.

Donald Trump, who is looking more like the Republican presidential candidate as each week passes, has said nothing about aliens or UFOs. Perhaps after hearing Ms. Clinton’s comments, and not wanting to lose the alien-enthusiast niche votes, he may decide to say something soon.

Churchill ordered UFO cover-up fearing mass panic

The British government has historically taken the threat of UFOs seriously. The BBC reported that declassified documents revealed that in the 1950s, British intelligence bosses met to discuss the issue.

Apparently, UK ministers even demanded weekly UFO sightings reports from a committee of intelligence experts.

During the Second World War, Prime Minister Winston Churchill became very alarmed by a UFO sighting reported by RAF bomber pilots. He was concerned that if the details were made public, there would be mass panic.

The BBC wrote:

“The files also include an account of a wartime meeting attended by Winston Churchill in which, it is claimed, the Prime Minister was so concerned about a reported encounter between a UFO and RAF bombers, that he ordered it be kept secret for at least 50 years to prevent ‘mass panic’.”

Most Americans, especially UFO seekers, believe the CIA and FBI have been keeping the truth from the general public.

The topics of UFOs and aliens are among the most popular for newspapers across the world.
