A weird object that appeared on a NASA feed got UFO seekers super-excited, until the US space agency abruptly cut it, triggering accusations of censorship and liaising with extraterrestrials who don’t want us to know what they are up to.
To be fair, NASA feeds are often cut for technical reasons. However, when they occur during alleged UFO sightings, conspiracy theorists get angry.
Editor of UFOSightingsDaily.com, Scott C. Waring, said he noticed a bizarre metallic ‘vessel’ while he was watching video footage from ISS (International Space Station) on 9th March.

Mr. Waring wrote:
“I enjoy watching the live internet cam of the space station. It’s interesting to view the world from outside of it. As I was watching, I noticed a long cylinder object floating alongside and below the space station. Its speed was matched with the ISS, but the object was semi-transparent.”
The cigar-shaped UFO appeared to be following the space station, when NASA’s live stream mysteriously failed, just as Mr. Waring claimed he was starting to get a better view of it.
Mr. Waring added:
“Just when I thought it was about to come into focus, the screen went blue. That’s what happens when NASA catches a UFO on cam, they cut the feed for a few minutes.”

UFO gone when feed restored
Alien enthusiasts said they found it suspicious that the UFO was gone when NASA’s feed came back. Mr. Waring, who had been recording the feed, posted the footage for everybody to share.
So far, more than 18,000 people have seen the footage. Suggestions on what it might be range from space junk, a lens flare, to super-intelligent extraterrestrials that are preparing their next experiment on the human race.
Mr. Waring said the object reminded him of the orbs and cylinder-shaped UFOs seen globally on CNN in 2006 near the space shuttle Atlantis, which was followed to five to ten grey metal orbs.
One reader made the following comment:
“The cylinger UFO design can & do act as submarine base stations on worlds with large bodies of deep water. I surmise that most are intergalactic carrier vessels also.”
According to NASA, it was not a UFO, but simply a large piece of debris from the shuttle. Many people responded to the agency’s explanation with the question: “So, why did you suddenly cut the feed?”
